Immanuel School for the Deaf in Kenya is in the picturesque area of Ringa about 250 km west of Nairobi. There are approximately 70 students attending and it also has a small farm where fresh fruit and vegetables are grown, and the older students can learn farming. They have chickens for fresh eggs, a cow for milk, goats, and donkeys to cart water. This school now competes in Inter-School Sports, and several of our students have recently passed the difficult government exams to go on to high school
